Meet Pepper! <br/>She is around 4 months old and 30 pounds. She was found as a stray and we think she is an American Bully mix. Pepper is an active, playful puppy who enjoys daily walks, fetch, and learning new tricks. She’s highly motivated by treats and praise, responding well to positive reinforcement. Crate training and leash manners are progressing well. Pepper is growing quickly and will be a bigger girl when full grown. She is doing great with the other dogs, cats and older children in her foster home. Meet and Greets are by appointment only (after the adopter has an approved application*). *Approved Applications are not on a first come first serve basis. We are selecting adopters based on what homes will be the best match for each animal.

Almost Home Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Sherman, Illinois. Our mission is to provide homeless pets a temporary home until their forever one comes along. Almost Home Rescue animals come as strays from shelters, while others are given to us by those making a tough decision to surrender.
