Pepper's Story

Pepper is a sweet, demure, petite 4.5 year old lab mix. She is housebroken, crate trained and kitty cat friendly. Pepper is a very anxious girl who craves calm, predictibility. She would do best as an only dog in the home, but has potential with another dog that is very calm and quiet and laid back - chaos and lots of running, barking and excitement stresses her out, so she would not do well with a dog that gets amped up. Due to the same high level of anxiety around loud noises and fast movements, she also would do best without young/rowdy children. Children 13+ that are calm and quiet and patient would be best, or an adult only home. She will need a calm, patient, experienced adopter that can help her feel safe and provide a nice quiet enviroment for her.

Pepper is healthy, current on vaccines, spayed and micro chipped. Her adoption fee is $150 and includes free dog training for life (including our fun group classes!), 30 days of free pet insurance through MetLife and a free bath and nail trim at Scenthound.

Located in Orlando, Florida. An adoption application is required, as well as an in-person meet and greet with the dog. We DO NOT ship dogs out of the area, we are located in Central Florida and all adoptions must occur in person. Adoption requirements vary on a dog to dog basis, our goal is to find a dog that is the right fit for you - and a home that is a great match for the dog. We keep our adoption fees as low as possible, but adoption fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. We are honest and upfront about everything we know about the animal you are adopting, and expect you to put serious thought into the commitment of adoption before moving forward and be committed to the dog life-long.
