Pepper's Story

Pepper came from a shelter that planned to euthanize him because of a simple cherry eye and some fear-based nipping - something we see all too often. When he first arrived, he was unsure and guarded, but within days he warmed up to our team and showed us who he really is: a sweet, loving, goofy little guy who just needed time and safety.
He's still technically a "bite history" dog, but we take that with a grain of salt - shelters are loud, stressful, and scary. Here, he's been nothing but affectionate and playful.
We're looking for a quiet, patient home that understands small-dog quirks and will give him space to settle in. Older kids only please - he adores my 5-year-old, but for setting him up for success, we'd prefer a calmer household. He'd love another small or medium dog to play with, but it's not required.
Now fixed, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
Littlerock, CA
adoptcear@gmail.com
- Text 661-839-2200 to meet him or learn more
