I am a shy but engaging girl that is beautiful inside and out. Like many rescue dogs, I came in with a few wounds but have since recovered with the new love and guidance that I have been shown. I am loving, cuddly, fun, and playful. I have been dubbed the "researcher", I need to do my research about you so I can trust you, once I trust, we will be forever fast friends. I communicate really well with my eyes and body language, so you will know when you have the green light with me. I take no time at all to make friends with the kids that I have met. I love to play fetch, and tug of war, this makes me think that I would love to have a buddy in my new home to pal around with. I am super smart; I know a lot of commands and learn new ones quickly. I can even hold a tennis ball in my mouth. I mentioned before that I am shy, rather, unsure about strangers at first, but am doing much better. I would have no problem settling in with a loving and patient family that I feel safe with. I don't have may requests, but to have a big yard would be ideal, especially if it is full of kids. For just a year old, I am finding that the simple things make me happy, like sitting quietly by the feet of my foster for hours while she works or plays bridge. I wait patiently in the car and at home when I am not allowed to go with my fosters. I think I would be the most perfect companion to just about anyone one, or any household.
