Pepper's Story

Pepper is a beautiful 7-month-old Chihuahua mix weighing just 9lbs. She's full of love, energy, and personality, wrapped up in one adorable little package. Pepper is also deaf, but she doesn't let that stop her from enjoying life and learning new things every day. She's doing well with potty training in foster care, learning to walk on a leash, and rides nicely in the car. Shy at first but warming up quickly, Pepper gets along well with children, other dogs, and cats, making her a great fit for many different families. Because Pepper is deaf, she will require a securely fenced yard to help keep her safe. A fenced yard will allow her the freedom to explore and play without relying on verbal cues for safety. Pepper is a sweet, happy girl who is eager to continue learning about the world with a family by her side. With patience, love, and consistency, she will make an incredible companion.
