A home with another playful dog would be ideal for her, though she would also thrive with an adopter who can give her plenty of exercise and attention. She is shy at first and needs a patient adopter who will give her time to adjust, but once she feels comfortable, her affectionate, fun, and loving personality shines through. For our adult dogs, we like to start with a "dating" period. After a couple of dates or more, we move to a sleepover and then gradually transition to a full-time relationship. We require a home check, references, ID, application, and contract for adoption. Our fees are different for current fosters who want to adopt versus outside adopters. They have already invested so much.
