Pepper just turned 6 years old and is part of H.A.L.O.'s Misfit Program, meaning she has a bite history and will need a home that understands her unique boundaries.<br/><br/>Pepper is affectionate and full of heart once she trusts you--offering sweet, grateful kisses and the best company for beach trips, fetch marathons, or just cruising in the car. She's an athletic, fun-loving girl who thrives on adventure.<br/><br/>But Pepper is also a sensitive soul. She gets overwhelmed in situations where she feels cornered or frightened, such as vet visits or being loomed over. If she feels threatened, she may react by biting. Because of this, Pepper needs a patient, understanding home with adults only and preferably no high-traffic or unpredictable environments.<br/><br/>We're looking for someone willing to visit a few times, take it slow, and let Pepper open up on her own terms. She's been overlooked for far too long--but for the right person, she'll be the most loyal, loving companion you could ask for. Could that be you?<br/><br/>Requirements: Martingale Collar; Old Leg Injury requires supplements; Muzzle for restraint; Misfit (Multiple Meetings and No Children)All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.
