He loves going for walks and will happily come over for cuddles whenever he gets the chance.<br/><br/>His story hasn't always been so peaceful. Pepe was found wandering the streets of Cancun, painfully thin, with his bones visible and scars on his face from attacks by other dogs. he was often chased away and even hit by people. Poor Pepe couldn't understand why the world was treating him so cruelly.<br/><br/>Thankfully, Pepe was eventually rescued. <br/><br/>Although he has learned to trust people, he can still be shy and may hide when he first meets someone. He needs a little patience and understanding, but once he feels safe, his gentle nature shines through.<br/><br/>Pepe takes life at his own pace, walking slowly and savoring every moment. His soulful eyes have a way of melting your heart. He's even accompanied us on peaceful afternoons at cafes, where he enjoys simply being by our side and behaves beautifully in restaurants.<br/><br/>He's not the kind of dog who needs toys, games, or endless activity. Pepe is happiest when life is quiet, someone is nearby, and he can enjoy a gentle cuddle.<br/><br/>**Pepe is looking for a loving home where he can finally feel safe, cherished, and at peace.** After everything he's been through, he deserves to spend the rest of his life surrounded by the kindness and love he has always deserved. <br/><br/>Thank you for considering adoption.
