Pepe's Story

Meet Pepe! Pepe received her name as she arrived as a VERY stinky stray who was recently skunked. She has since been bathed with special skunk shampoo and feeling much better. We believe Pepe is Junior's sibling, and is likely Tibetan Mastiff mixed with German Shepherd, Husky and Malamute. She is 2 years old. Pepe is approximately 60 lbs currently and needs to gain some weight. She is in need of an owner with guardian breed experience, who is ok with undercoat/shedding, AND can keep her appropriately contained when left alone. She thoroughly enjoys being glued to her peoples side. Staff have containment recommendations for her. Since arriving to the shelter, she has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and is heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is just $150 and she is a friendly, beautiful girl. If you have questions, call or email: 630-553-9256 or animalcontrol@kendallcountyil.gov
