Penny (Formerly Momma Apres)

Update - now Penny. Momma Apres was adopted back in March, but due to their rental home property beomg sold they have to move quickly. They are headed to another rental property where dogs aren’t allowed so she is back to looking for her forever home. <br/>Her current owner is sad and say this about her. She has not had but one accident in the house for us. We’ve never had her in the kennel so unsure of that. She thinks she’s a big baby and loves being in your lap and loves all the lovings. <br/>She’s been good with the outdoor stray cats around here she just doesn’t realize her size and likes to play: dog wise she’s great until it comes with food involved. We just always separated her and the smaller one due to her growling and snapping at her when we tried in a bigger bowl for both. She absolutely loves kids again just doesn’t realize her size with the little ones who are toddlers. <br/><br/>Momma Apres came to us around 11/14/25 from a person who had rescued her as a stray and no way to allow her to have puppies inside. The pups would have surely died with the cold weather. She was just a week from delivering pups. We got her in just in time as she gave birth to 8 puppies on 11/21/25. We lost one puppy but seven survived and are happy and healthy. They are all named after a Ski Slope theme! Her pups are Breck, Vail, Parks, Telly, Jackson and Slope all males and one girl puppy Aspen. RIP to sweet boy Ski. <br/><br/>Apres is a very loving and friendly girl. She is a beautiful orangey brown Heeler girl. She loves kids and would make a great family dog. She has lots of hugs and kisses to give.
