Penny's Story

Penny is a young shepherd mix who found herself out on the streets for reasons unknown. She is very smart and is learning commands such as sit, stay, down, off. Penny is getting along well with both large and small dogs but does need slow and proper introduction to them. Cats again she has shown no reaction to. Penny is housetrained and kennel trained. She loves to play fetch and chew on squeaky toys. She would make a great companion for someone who leads an active outdoor life and needs a furry friend to take on walks, hikes, etc. Penny will be spayed prior to adoption. She is otherwise fully vetted.
