Penny Mixed Breed Stanton, KY

Penny is in a foster home and getting acclimated to being a family member. She came to us as a reported stray. She was obviously surprised to end up homeless. She is in great condition and a pretty girl. Her personality has already blossomed and she is grateful to have care and kindness each day. She tested well with other dogs and seems to be okay with cats! She is gentle and kind and would do well in a variety of home situations. She likes toys! We believe her to be 3-4 years old and her size is about 55 lbs. She is also good with older children. We recommend 6 yrs and older.

Penny is now in a foster home and recently spayed and vetted.
She is ready for adoption to a permanent home. She's also housebroken!

We are a rural shelter with high intakes. As a result, the shelter dogs are not guaranteed safety. We do our best but, we need help.

ADOPTION FEES APPLY- Dogs $150 - $175 Cats $90 (We are not set up for credit or debit payments.)

After hours appts can be arranged with advance notice and an approved application. We want to accommodate!

We are glad to answer any questions. Adoption rates include a spay or neuter, vaccines, & deworming. Surgeries are mandatory!

Families with young children must have fenced yards to prevent the accidental escape of pets.
