Penny's Story

Meet Penny
Penny is an 11-year-old cream Labrador Retriever with a heart as gentle as her pace in life. She's the definition of loyal companionship and would love nothing more than to be by your side, enjoying the quiet moments.
Penny prefers the simple things-lounging outside while you garden, soaking up the sunshine, and taking leisurely walks where she can stop and smell every flower along the way. She isn't interested in toys or high-energy play; she's happiest just being near her people.
She does well with calm, larger dogs but would also be perfectly content as your one-and-only companion. Penny has a strong prey drive, so she will need a home without small animals (including cats, small dogs, or rabbits).
Currently living with a 7-year-old child, Penny adores kids! Because she doesn't always realize her size, a home with children 5 and older would be the best fit.
The practical details:
Housebroken and crate trained
Walks nicely on leash (at her own relaxed pace!)
Doesn't require a fenced yard, but would certainly enjoy one
No small animals-cats, rabbits, small dogs in the home

Like many senior labs, Penny has some arthritis. She takes a daily joint supplement (Cosequin) and uses an anti-inflammatory (Carprofen) as needed to stay comfortable.
Penny is looking for a calm, loving home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by kindness and companionship. If you're looking for a sweet, steady presence in your life, Penny might just be your perfect match.

Kennel License 9117
Reading PA 19608
