When someone comes close, her little body perks up because she knows she isn't alone.<br/>And if there is one thing Penny absolutely loves in life...<br/>It's meal time.<br/>For such a tiny dog, Penny is a fantastic eater, and nothing makes her happier than hearing her bowl hit the floor.<br/>She gets along with children and other dogs, but she needs a gentle, patient touch. Most of her days are spent sleeping peacefully like many senior dogs do. But when she wakes up, she gets little bursts of energy and happily moves around the best she can.<br/>The truth is simple.<br/>Penny doesn't need a perfect life.<br/>She just needs a quiet place to rest, someone kind nearby, and a bowl of food she can get excited about.<br/>Could Penny be fostered or adopted? Absolutely.<br/>Would we love to see her find a home of her own? Of course. <br/>But we also know the reality of rescue.
