Penny's Story
**Located in New Hampshire**

Meet Penny!

If youve been looking for a loyal best friend with a heart of gold, Penny just might be your perfect match.

Penny is a beautiful 1 to 2 year old Pit Bull mix (possibly Pit/Lab) weighing around 70 pounds. With her stunning silver coat, soulful eyes, and gentle expression, shes the kind of dog who turns heads everywhere she goes. But as beautiful as she is on the outside, its her sweet, loving personality that will truly steal your heart.

Penny is one of the kindest dogs youll ever meet. She has never shown an ounce of aggression toward anyone and is wonderful with other dogs, cats, men, women, and children. Because shes naturally a little shy and sensitive, we think a home with children around 8 years old or older would be the best fit, simply because younger childrens fast movements and excitement may be overwhelming for her as she continues building confidence.

While Penny can be a bit of a nervous girl when faced with new situations, shes making wonderful progress in her foster home every day. Shes learning that the world isnt such a scary place, and shell need a patient family willing to continue helping her blossom at her own pace. The reward is incredible—once Penny trusts you, shes one of the most affectionate dogs youll ever meet. She absolutely loves giving kisses, following her people from room to room, and simply being wherever you are. If something startles her, shell come running to the person she trusts most, looking for reassurance. Her loyalty runs deep.

She would do best in a home that has a fenced yard, another confident dog to help show her the ropes and that likes to play!

If you ask Penny what her favorite hobbies are, shed have two answers: playing with other dogs and cuddling on the couch. She absolutely adores canine friends of all sizes and would happily spend hours running and playing before curling up beside you for a cozy Netflix night. Shes active enough to enjoy adventures, walks, and exploring, but shes equally content relaxing at home with her family.

Penny is fully house trained, completely crate trained, and sleeps quietly through the night. Shes truly an easy dog to live with and has wonderful house manners. Her foster family describes her as gentle, neutral, affectionate, and incredibly eager to please.

Penny isnt looking for perfection—shes simply looking for someone who will give her the time, patience, and love she deserves. In return, shell reward you with unwavering loyalty, endless cuddles, and a friendship unlike any other.

Penny is spayed, up to date on all of her vaccines, and will receive her health certificate prior to adoption. Shes ready to leave her past behind and start the next chapter of her life with a family who will show her just how wonderful the world can be.

https://www.livefreerescue.com/adoption-application
