Penny is a Border Collie mix, and the Mom of Ivy, who is also available for adoption. Approx DOB 10/06/23<br/><br/>Penny would like a quiet home where she can continue to learn that humans are her protectors and friends. She is very sweet, and very gentle. She'll come up from behind and put her head gently under your hand to let you know she'd like some pets. She likes to stay in the background and observe before joining play. But once she feels safe, she enjoys frolicking with the other dogs. She seems to prefer the company of some male dogs. Right now, Penny is staying in a kennel, so finding a foster for her is a top priority. Do you have room in your home and heart for this sweetheart?

Please note that the application is not an agreement to adopt a pet. Improper placement can end tragically — usually for the dog. This comprehensive application helps us to place the right dog with the right family. An adoption interview will be scheduled either by phone or in person upon review of the application. The level of experience required, need for a fence, adequate exercise space, hours the animal may be left alone, young children and other pets in the home, etc will be discussed in the adoption interview and will be determined according to the need of each dog.
