Penn's Story
Penn - Male - young adult
Born approx June 30, 2025
Weight: 21 kg as of May 7/26
Height - 23 inch at the shoulder

Meet Penn! This handsome mixed breed boy has four unique socks on his feet, and a dash of white on his tail, like a paint brush ready to paint the perfect story. Penn is now near a year old and came into New Hope as a young pup who had never been handled. He is making progress with his foster family and trainer and is looking for a family or individual who can continue to help him grow and trust the big world. He is currently trialing medication to ease some stress in certain situations. His foster mom will gladly tell you all about how far he’s come and the best ways to help him along.

Like a typical young dog, he is navigating his youth, learning manners while playing and sleeping hard. Penn will sit quietly for his food, but it's game on once it hits the floor. This cutie has met cats and kids, and enjoys spending time with both. Penn does find meeting new people to be hard at times and politely requests that anyone who wants to meet him wait until he approaches them, he will be sure to reward your patience with a ton of love and puppy snuggles.

Penn loves his foster humans and likes to snuggle or play! He is a loyal dog to those he knows. He would do great in a home with another dog to help him continue to build confidence but this is not a requirement for his forever family. He loves his walks to school to pick up his kids, touring stores such as Petvalu and Canadian tire and any car rides. Penn is kennel trained, walks well on leash, knows tricks and is outside trained giving him a good foundation for dog expectations. This boy is ready for his loving family to make his story complete, apply to meet him.

Adoption fee is $295. He is microchipped, neutered, dewormed, and current on vaccines.
