She and her sister, Ally, are 9 months old and have spent their lives locked up in a kennel. She and her sister spent their entire lives confined, missing out on all the things puppies should experience. Despite that, Penelope is an incredibly sweet and gentle girl who is learning that people can be kind and the world can be a fun place. Shes looking for a patient family to help her continue building confidence and discovering just how loved she can be.<br/><br/>Penelope currently weighs 27 lbs but needs to put on weight. <br/><br/>Come meet Penelope and Ally at our adoption event at Merriam PetSmart on Saturday! <br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A DOG<br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
