Sadly, many dogs in that area were being killed because drivers couldn’t see them. We simply couldn’t leave this sweet baby there to fend for herself.<br/>And even if she survived, she would have eventually starved or become pregnant and continued the cycle of unwanted puppies.<br/>Today, Penelope is 10 months old, 35 lbs, 4DX negative, fully vaccinated, and spayed. ❤ï ̧<br/><br/>I’m so happy this sweet girl is safe and in our care.
