Penelope's Story
Penelope and her friends Margo and Natasha (also available for adoption) were surrendered into our care on June 3rd after their owner passed away. Penelope is 13 years old and weighs 10 lbs. She is very sweet, gentle, and enjoys affection. She gets along well with the other pups in our littles' play yard.

Penelope is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling receiving lots of TLC while we learn more about her in a home environment. She previously went on a Frosted Field Trip, and her foster mom shared afterwards:

"Penelope embodies the energy of "go with the flow". She is so laid back and is down to do whatever, whether that's just chilling at home, going on walks, or going on a car ride. There are currently two other dogs and a cat in my home, and Penelope was completely fine with them. Our cat was eager to check out Penelope and was getting close to her and sniffing her, and Penelope had no reaction, and they stayed friendly the whole time she was with us. She showed no concerning behaviors with the other dogs and was completely fine eating in the same room with them, even if they came near her while she was eating.

Penelope loved trying out all the beds in the home (dogs beds and human beds) and was frequently found taking a nap in another room. She seems to potty-trained, and other than the first night, when she was a little anxious, she didn't have any more accidents. Penelope is spry for her age and can go up stairs and jump on beds and couches.

Penelope is such a sweetheart and I could see her fitting into so many different family types because she's just so easygoing."

To meet Penelope, please email:
placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org
