Penelope's Story

This little princess is Penelope! Having had a pretty bad start in life and being worse for wear when she came to us she has had one heck of a glow up! Now a beautiful young girl thanks to her foster mom for pouring all the love and care into her to help her grow! This is what her foster mom has to say about her:

This little princess is Penelope! Now a beautiful young girl thanks to her foster mom for pouring all the love and care into her to help her grow! This is what her foster mom has to say about her:

Meet Penelope! She’s gentle, patient, and shy at first meeting, like someone who’s spent a long time waiting for her own safe harbor. But once she decides you’re hers, she opens up into the sweetest thing. She is affectionate, snuggly, and full of that goofy, youthful puppy joy she finally gets to explore.

At 46 pounds, Penelope is the perfect medium-sized companion. She loves other dogs, has lived peacefully with cats and small animals, and delights in stuffed toys and cozy naps. She’s almost fully potty trained, kennel trained, and already knows how to sit and wait with the kind of polite grace her namesake would approve of.

Penelope has walked a long journey to get here, but now she’s ready for her own happy ending where she can rest, love, and belong.
