Meet Penelope ... a sweet, gentle 6-year-old Chihuahua weighing about 15 lbs. She is currently located at Saving Grace Rescue LBK in Wilson, TX and is available for adoption throughout much of the United States thanks to Project Freedom Ride’s transport program.<br/><br/>Penelope’s life changed when she and her lifelong companion were surrendered to Tahoka Animal Control. Sadly, her friend has since passed away, leaving Penelope to navigate life on her own. Because of this, she can be a little shy at first, but with patience and a calm environment, her loving personality shines through.<br/><br/>She is dog-friendly and would do well with a calm canine companion. Once she feels safe, Penelope becomes a quiet, affectionate shadow who loves being close to her person.
