Pencil is a sweet 3-year-old Chihuahua who found her way to safety after being discovered alone as a stray. She was taken to a shelter in California, but sadly no one ever came forward to claim her. Thankfully, she now has a chance to find the loving home she deserves.<br/><br/>Don't let her small size fool you -- Pencil is a busy little girl with plenty of energy! She enjoys playtime and will do best in a home that keeps her mentally and physically stimulated. Without enough activity, she may look for her own ways to stay entertained (which can include chewing).<br/><br/>Pencil would likely thrive in a home with another confident small dog who enjoys playing and won't let her boss them around.
