Pelo can be a nervous little dog at first, he'll act a bit nippy, and put on a big show of barking, but if you sit with him, he'll just climb into your lap and try to lick your face. Pelo gets along with other dogs once he gets to know them, but he can be barky until then.

All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home.

Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt.
