Peg's Story

**WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED OF FOSTER HOMES** Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all volunteer rescue organization and all our dogs and puppies are in foster homes - we are not a shelter and do NOT have a facility where we house our dogs. For adoption information go to: www.homewardbounddogrescue.com. You must fill out an application online as we do NOT accept applications at our clinics.

Peg (nicknamed Nova) is a sweet, smart, playful girl with a loving personality and lots of puppy energy. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and does great with kids, making her a perfect fit for a family home.

Peg is expected to grow into a medium-to-large dog, so she would thrive in a house with a fenced yard where she can run, play, and explore safely. She’s an active pup who will do best with a family ready to give her plenty of exercise, attention, and love. With the right home, Peg is sure to grow into a loyal and joyful companion 🐾

Our adoption clinics are held one Saturday a month at our facility in Schenectady on John Street, located directly behind Boulevard Bowl (Erie Boulevard) from 10 am to 12 pm (directions are on our website). We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive an email invitation to attend an adoption event. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates as we are adopting dogs out in between adoption events. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $395. Dogs over 2 years old are $295. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
