Hi, I’m Pee-wee, a 3-year-old, 7.8-pound Manchester Terrier. <br/><br/>I may weigh less than some people’s purse...but in my mind, I am a VERY LARGE MAN. <br/><br/>I’m a little shy when I first meet you. Give me a minute to conduct my background check, assess your character, and determine whether you are worthy.<br/><br/>Once approved? I am your shadow. If you feel like someone is watching you...It’s me. If you turn around and almost trip over something...Also me. If you can’t find me? Look directly behind you. <br/><br/>And YES, I am an absolute lap baby. I take snuggling very seriously. At bedtime, I know exactly how to use the stairs, climb right up, curl beside you and sleep peacefully through the night.<br/><br/>Basically, I have already decided your bed is also my bed. Knock it off!”<br/>“No running!”<br/>“Who authorized this foolishness?!”<br/><br/>Yes. I am occasionally the Fun Police. <br/><br/> Cats? Listen, I am a terrier. If the cat sits there, we may be able to negotiate. If the cat RUNS? Well... now you’ve activated a factory setting. So a cat-free home may be the safest bet.<br/><br/> Kids? Yep! Love them<br/><br/> House trained? Work in progress. I’m learning!<br/><br/> Leash trained? Absolutely.<br/><br/> Crate trained? I would prefer that we never use the words “Pee-wee” and “crate” in the same sentence again. It stresses me out, and I do much better without one.<br/><br/> As for physical fitness... I believe strongly in conserving energy. I CAN walk. I just need an accountability partner who refuses to accept “maybe tomorrow” as an answer. <br/><br/> But MEALTIME?! Suddenly I’m an athlete.
