Peeva's Story

Peeva is male Shiba Inu (large for the breed) about 2 or 3 years old, he is neutered up to date on shots Heart worm tested negative and microchipped. Peeva has had a little bit of a rough start found as a stray landed in the shelter, subsequently adopted only to be returned a few month later when he was startled when the adopter moved some furniture the dog was spooked and nipped (no skin was broken). We have had Peeva for about 8 weeks and like most Shibas he takes a little time to accept you. We have noticed that Peeva will hover over his kibble bowl but when it comes to treats and chew toys he has no issue and will even bring them to you to hold while he chews on them. We feel Peeva would do best in a adult only home with an experienced dog owner and no other dog.
