Pebbles (the dog) - In Foster's Story
Pebbles is a wonderful girl, 4 years old. She is 55 lbs. She has lived with kids and small dogs but she was too high energy for the smaller dogs to play with her. A dog closer to her size to play might be a good fit. She has not lived with cats and she has too much energy for them anyway. She will follow you around, loves people and loves to lay on the couch and sleep with you. She loves kids but can knock them down in her excitement. Due to her energy, she needs a fenced in yard and someone that is home often to let her out and spend time with her. This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home!

Email adoptions@ctcatconnection.org with a question or better yet, complete an application for quickest consideration. (Application: https://www.ctcatconnection.org/adoption-application/).

Select cats can be fostered instead! Apply on our website.

A cat's behavior in the shelter may not be what it will be like in your home; if the cat is nervous, anxious, or agitated, please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat. Most often, in a home, they thrive!

Kitten Policy: Kittens must be able to socialize with other young cats or dogs as playmates, as it is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.

Due to demand, we do not place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet all cats or kittens available for adoption at the time of visit.

If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care. Fill out an application, which can be found at https://www.ctcatconnection.org/get-involved/
