Pebbles's Story

He’s truly one of a kind and such a special little soul.

Our neurologist believes Pebbles’ paralysis is something he was born with, as two of his siblings also have similar mobility issues — likely something passed along from mom during birth. The good news is that he’s not in any pain, doesn’t require medication, and no longer needs any physical therapy. He’s thriving just as he is!

Pebbles is very dog-social and absolutely loves being part of the action. He can go to the bathroom on his own while in his wheelchair, and when he’s just hanging out, he wears a diaper to help keep things tidy. We also express his bladder once a day to make sure it’s fully emptied.

He’s incredibly determined and has figured out his own little ways of getting around — when he gets curious, he’ll happily army crawl across the floor to explore or say hi. It’s pretty adorable to watch!

He’s a simple guy with simple needs — a comfy spot to lounge, a few toys to chew, and people to love on. Someone who works from home or is around a lot would be ideal since Pebbles loves to be close to his humans, but it’s not a strict requirement.

He’s neutered, fully up-to-date on vaccines, and ready to roll (literally!) into his forever home.
