MY STORY: Pebbles came to CBHS as a stray.

AGE: Approximately 3 years 6 months old.

Hello, I'm Pebbles!
I am a sweet and social girl that loves attention. I enjoy attention from the humans, going for walks outside, and eating yummy treats! Sometimes I even enjoy playing with toys! I would do best in an adult home, or a home with older children/teenagers.

When I arrived at CBHS, the first thing that was noticed was the fact that I couldn't use my left rear leg. The staff at CBHS scanned me for a microchip and were excited to find that I was indeed chipped! They began calling the chip company who unfortunately informed them that my chip was never registered and there was also not an implantation facility listed. Ugh, a dead end. No one ever did call to claim me or even check on me. The staff here told me not to worry and they would help me and find me a loving home.

I was examined by a wonderful veterinarian, and it was determined my leg was badly fractured. The decision was made to amputate my injured leg. Don't worry though! I get along very well without it, and I feel much better now.

Since I was a stray, it is unknown if I have ever been around other animals. I have met several other dogs while at CBHS and I seem to get along with other dogs. However, I sometimes get picky about which dogs I want to live with. I can sometimes be quite jealous around other dogs and I don't like to share my stuff with them. I would like to meet any other dog in your home prior to adoption or be the only doggy in your home!

I'm looking for a home that will give me the love and attention I deserve. After all I am the goodest girl! Will you be my new family?
