Pebbles's Story
When this little lady first came into our care, she was carrying around an impressive collection of bladder stones, enough that we briefly considered renaming her Quarry.

Understandably, she was not exactly thrilled with life at the time. But honestly, if your bladder felt like a maraca full of gravel, you probably wouldnt be very cheerful either.

Thankfully, after getting the care she desperately needed, Pebbles is now rolling happily into her brand new chapter, and this little river rock princess is absolutely thriving.

Pebbles is living the good life in foster care with her foster brother, and shes blossoming more and more every single day. The grumpy little stone collector we first met has been replaced with a happy, social, affectionate young dog whos discovering just how wonderful life can be when your internal landscaping job has been safely completed.

Pebbles loves adults, only adults. Kids are too much for her, and she reacts quite fearfully. She enjoys canine companionship, and has been steadily coming out of her shell into the bright, playful girl she was always meant to be. Shes sweet, friendly, and full of personality packed into one tiny little body. Honestly, shes proof that sometimes the best gems just need a little polishing first.

Because of her history with bladder stones, Pebbles will need to stay on a special diet for life to help prevent future stones from forming. But for a dog this delightful? That feels like a pretty small pebble to carry. Besides, every princess deserves a specialized menu.

Now all Pebbles needs is a forever family ready to keep her hydrated, spoiled, adored, and safely far away from any future geology collections.
