Pebbles's Story

Meet Pebbles — your tiny, devoted shadow 💕

Are you looking for a little companion who will happily curl up in your lap and follow you wherever you go? Then Pebbles might just be your perfect match. This beautiful 5.5-pound Chihuahua is about 3 years old and full of love, resilience, and sweetness.

Pebbles has a neurological condition that gives her an adorable wobbly, “tipsy” walk—but it certainly doesn’t slow her down. She loves keeping up with her people and doggy friends and is always eager to be part of whatever you’re doing.

Because of her condition, she’ll need a home without stairs (or gates on stairs) and a family who can help keep her safe.

Pebbles also wears diapers indoors, as she doesn’t have full control of her bladder or bowels. She takes it all in stride and doesn’t let it affect her happy spirit one bit.

This little survivor has already been through so much. She had bladder stones removed and will need to stay on a prescription diet to keep her healthy. She also had one eye removed due to a painful condition—but don’t worry, she gets around just fine and doesn’t miss a beat!

While we don’t know what Pebbles’ life was like before rescue, we do know this: she is now safe, loved, and ready for a bright future. All she needs is a patient, compassionate home willing to give her the extra care she deserves—and in return, she’ll give you endless loyalty and affection.

If you have a soft spot for special pups and are ready to open your heart and home, Pebbles is waiting to meet you 💖

Apply today to give this sweet girl the forever home she’s been waiting for.
We need Pebbles shared far and wide as we know she will take a very special family 🥰

We would like Pebbles to be adopted to a family in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
