She loves being around her people and is happiest when she feels safe, comfortable, and included in the family.<br/>Pearl can be an anxious dog, so she does best with a patient and understanding family that can give her consistency, reassurance, and plenty of love. Once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality really shines through.<br/>Pearl also has Addison’s disease, which is currently well managed with 2.5 mg of prednisone once a day. Her medication is part of her daily routine, and she has a family who is familiar with her condition and happy to provide information and guidance to her new family.<br/>Pearl is looking for a loving home where she can be part of the family, receive the attention and patience she deserves, and continue to be happy and well cared for. Poodle Rescue of New England will not place a poodle in a home with electric/invisible fencing or in a home with children under the age of 10. PRNE adopts dogs within the New England area (MA, NH, ME, VT, RI, CT) and Upstate NY within a 1/2 hour of Albany.
