Pearl's Story

THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Please contact Sandi Pinedo at (209) 678-1321 for more information. Pearl is being fostered in Valley Springs.

THIS SWEET PUP IS AVAILABLE FOR APOPTION!

Pearl was rescued off of the streets of Manteca about eight months ago. She had been living on the streets for over six months, according to witnesses. She was so wily that she had to be trapped. I brought her to my home as a feral dog.
I've fostered her for eight months now. She was so feral that we couldn't pet her for about three weeks. Now, she follows me around the house and prefers to be in my lap. She loves her bed (but loves my bed more!) and has learned from my dogs how to play with toys! She gets along great with my two Jack Russells and my cat. She would do best in a home with another small dog, as she loves to play! Pearl loves to be outside. However, she will always be a flight risk. She will need a very secure back yard. She has been to two training sessions but does not like the leash. Ive continued to work with her with the leash. Ive taken that opportunity to continue to work with her, and she is blossoming! She has the most loving, sweet little soul. She is such a character. Just a sweet, silly little clown!

Please contact Sandi at (209) 678-1321 as we really need to find Pearls furever home!
