Pearl

Pearl is a Bassett hound with a touch of beagle in her. She has the long thick, low to the ground body of a Bassett complete with short fat legs and front feet that turn out. Her face shows her beagle side because her ears don't drag the ground, but they are still long and floppy hound ears. She is between 1 and 2 years old and gets along with other dogs. We do not know how she will do with cats. Pearl and her 8 puppies were dumped at a CCHS member's home. Her puppies have been weaned, and Pearl has been spayed, has all her shots, and is negative for heartworms. She is a seriously cute hound pooch who is calm and wags her tail like a pro! If you are looking for a great family pet who won't get really big but is not a small yippy dog, please consider Ms. Pearl. You can meet her at the shelter. On February 10, 2007, Pearl and her puppies and several other dogs will be at Petsmart in Jackson, TN between 10:00 and 2:00. Please come see her and take her shopping because she says she needs a new winter coat!
