Pearl's Story

Pearl is a 7-month-old mixed breed puppy who has already overcome more than most dogs her age. She came from a large hoarding case near Palmdale and was at risk of euthanasia simply because she hadn't been given the opportunity to learn that people can be safe.

Today, Pearl is making steady progress and is looking for a patient family willing to continue helping her build confidence. She is wonderful with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident canine companion who can show her the ropes.

At about 25 pounds, Pearl is expected to mature to approximately 4050 pounds. She is still learning what it means to be a beloved family pet and can be shy when meeting new people, but each day she grows a little braver.

Pearl doesn't need a perfect homeshe needs an understanding one. A family committed to positive reinforcement, routine, and allowing her to move at her own pace will be rewarded with the joy of watching her blossom into the dog she was always meant to be.

If you'd like to help Pearl write the next chapter of her story, apply to adopt today.
