Pearl's Story

Pearl is a very loving and very affectionate girl. She has her Great Dane "lean" down pat and loves nothing more than being close to her people. She does great with other dogs, but is not a fan of little dogs.

** Due to the significant costs associated with her veterinary care (spay/gastropexy), she does have a higher adoption fee than most animals in our care.

Idaho Animal Rescue Network's Adoption Policy
Upon completing an application for adoption, potential adopters are contacted via email or phone to discuss the needs (present and future) of the animal they hope to adopt. Approved adopters are then invited to meet with the animal one-on-one to get a better idea of their personality. In some instances, we offer them a couple of meet and greets. Because some of our animals come from abuse/neglect situations, we do not ever rush adoptions and appreciate the adopters who understand this process. A home visit is required and if renting, a potential adopter must provide landlord information so approval can be verified by our staff. * We do NOT adhere to a first-come adoption basis. We seek the best fit for the animals in our care.
