Meet Pearl. <br/>Three years old, 45 pounds, and overflowing with love, Pearl is the kind of dog who believes there is no such thing as too close to her favorite people. If youre on the couch, shell be right beside you. If youre in bed, dont be surprised if she finds her way under the blankets for a cuddle.<br/><br/>Pearl loves soaking up the sunshine, sprinting through the yard with the zoomies, crunching on ice cubes, riding in the car, and ending the day with chest scratches and quality couch time. Every morning she wakes up like its the best day ever, and her joyful personality is impossible not to smile at.<br/><br/>Pearl is spayed, healthy, and up to date on all of her vaccines. She walks nicely on a leash, rides well in the car, and is comfortably crate trained when home alone.<br/><br/>Pearl is looking for a home that understands she has a little emotional baggage from her past. Like many dogs who havent always had stability, she can be protective of valued resources such as food, toys, and sometimes her favorite people. Because of this, she would be happiest as the only dog in the home, with a calm, easygoing canine companion, or with someone experienced in managing resource guarding who can help her continue building confidence.<br/><br/>Around children, Pearl has been gentle and affectionate. She hasnt been around cats, although she definitely thinks squirrels are worth chasing.<br/><br/>Pearl isnt looking for a perfect home. Shes looking for the right one. Someone who will see beyond her past, understand her needs, and give her the safe, predictable life shes always deserved.<br/><br/>We know that family is out there.<br/><br/>Pearl is located in Summerville, SC and is ready to meet the people shell love with her whole heart.<br/><br/>MORE INFO:<br/>All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, or scheduled to be if they arrived in our care too young. Each dog has been seen by our veterinarian and treated for likely the following (all various): Age appropriate vaccines, overall health exam and other alignments as they come up.
