Peanut Pup's Story
Meet 1 year old, 14 lb Chihuahua/Pug mix puppy, Peanut. Peanut was taken into rescue from the lobby of a local shelter, where he was being given up. Peanut is a high-energy, outgoing, extremely active pup. Peanut has not been socialized well to other dogs and needs training. He barks at new people and other dogs. Thus, he will do best as an only dog with lots of attention, enrichment, and playtime in a quiet home. Because of his anxiety around unknown factors, he will not do well in an apartment, condo, or other high-density housing situation--or with children or a busy household. Apply to meet Peanut at adoptocpets.org/adopt
