The Pet Adoption Center of Orange County's Adoption Policy
Due to COVID-19, all potential adoptions require an application BEFORE an appointment. Begin by downloading, completing, saving your answers, and emailing an adoption application to info@adoptocpets.org. Available dogs are updated daily, so there is no no need to email us to ask whether they are available. Please go directly to completing and submitting the application. Once received, we review the application and contact you for a virtual home check, if we believe you are a possible match for the pup. After the virtual home check is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet. If all goes well, we will complete the adoption, including an adoption agreement and donation. Note that we are receiving an overwhelming number of inquiries while everyone is at home. Therefore, we cannot contact everyone. We will contact you if you may be a potential match for the particular dog. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
