Peanut's Story

Peanut was a previous shelter dog that was trained in the prison. Upon his return, through no fault of his own, he was returned to the prison to continue his training.Peanut was not returned to us by his previous adopters, however he was found wandering so we have no idea why the previous adopters chose not to keep him.His manners and behaviors at the prison are spot on and he knows his commands, his handler states he is perfect!Peanut does well with other dogs, plays very well with them and when not playing he is calm and loves to relax. If you are interested in Peanut please call or email and we will explain how the process with meeting him is arranged. ***he is NOT at the shelter----an appointment must be arranged and scheduled to go to the prison to do so.He is neutered, vaccinated, wormed, and microchipped.Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt. Gilead, OH. 419-946-1747
