PEANUT aka Teacup's Story
Peanut is doing great and is ready for his own home! He may prefer medium/larger dogs but has done pretty well with small dogs too. He is a bit of a marker (outdoors) wanting to make sure everyone knows he visited (LOL). He can be a little bossy with other dogs so needs a submissive friend or someone able to hold their own

He can be a bit slower to warm than some dogs, but he warmed up quickly to both the trainer and foster after a very short intro (less than 24 hours). He took a little longer to warm to the male staff and may not be a fan of children so probably a home with no kids or older kids would be better. He needs someone with patience and who does not rush him. His behavior is actually fairly typical in that chihuahuas tend to be very loyal to their favorite/chosen person, and tends to just move away when uncomfortable.

Peanut's foster mom describes him as one of the easiest dogs at her house.....so once he is comfortable and knows the routine he is nearly perfect. He will come with a free training session. He is 6-7 years old and 10 lbs and current on vaccines. He is also neutered and microchipped.
To apply for Peanut submit HERE https://form.jotform.com/cherishedtails/dog-application
