Peanut's Story

Meet our newest guest at the LaVerkin Animal Shelter. This is Peanut, a 1 year old Cattle Dog/Kelpie mix that was recently abandoned in a rural area with Petey. In spite of showing signs of abuse and neglect, Peanut is the sweetest, most loving dog we've had recently. He's weighs about 25 lbs, making him a perfect size for a wide variety of home size, or even in an RV. If we are correct as to his breed type, Peanut will be a very intelligent companion with a decent amount of energy to keep you active. Please call the shelter throughout the week and ask any questions you may have about this beautiful boy.<br/>Peanut has been neutered and microchipped already, and is up-to-date on vaccinations. His adoption fees are only $70. If you're interested in meeting Peanut, please call the shelter at 435-772-5441 or visit Monday through Saturday between 9 AM and 1:30 PM.
