Peanut's Story

Peanut 🐾
2-3 yr old | Pittie mix (aka goodest girl)

Peanut is a solid medium (50-60 lb) female pittie mix with the softest grey caramel swirl colored coat and an amazing disposition to match her good looks.

Peanut came to us when she was found as a stray by a good Samaritan out of state with her young puppy and brought back to PA (the puppy found a home before Peanut came to us).

Peanut love, love, LOVES all people she meets. Those hands are all meant to be petting her, but if you are busy she will occupy herself being silly with a toy or looking out the window in her foster home to check out the neighborhood goings on. Her fosters have only good things to say about her - she is housebroken, crate trained (although she does love to squeeze herself onto the sofa between 2 people if you allow her to). She has even been an angel with young visiting grand kids.

Although Peanut tested well with other dogs her size it has been a while and she would need to meet any prospective canine companions. She would do best in a home without small dogs. Peanut also briefly saw cats in a temp foster home she was in prior to DTR and did ok, but we would need to cat test her for a home with any feline friends. Of course she would also love to be your one and only!

💉 Adoption fee includes vaccinations to date, up-to-date preventatives, spay, and microchip. Peanut has also been fully treated for heartworm.

📋 Interested in adopting Peanut? Apply at: www.dogtownrescue.org.
