Peanut's Story
Meet Peanut!

At 12 years young and a whopping 6.5 lbs, Peanut is proof that the best things come in tiny, cuddly packages. We don’t know everything about where she’s been, but life hasn’t always been easy for this little one — and yet here she is, soft as ever, with nothing but love to give. Some dogs teach you that resilience looks like wagging through it anyway. Peanut is one of those dogs.

Now she’s ready for the sweetest chapter yet — the one where she gets to be absolutely adored.

Peanut’s ideal day looks something like this: a long, luxurious nap, a warm lap to curl up on, and someone who lights up when they walk through the door (she will absolutely light up right back). She’s a total cuddle bug who also knows how to keep herself company — the rare gem who loves you deeply without being needy about it.

Out in the world, Peanut takes things at her own pace — think leisurely strolls, or better yet, a stroller ride where she can take in the scenery like the little queen she is. She’s never met a person she didn’t like, and she’s easy as pie with other small dogs too. Cats are still a mystery to her, so a cat-free home or a slow, patient introduction would be ideal.

Peanut is a champion sleeper — a glorious 9–12 hours a night without a peep — and she has never, not once, been heard to bark. Yes, really.

She’s already been through the hard part. Now Peanut just needs someone to show her what easy feels like.
