Peanut 's Story

Meet Peanut! This sweet puppy was born in December 2025 we estimate in Todos Santos, Mexico and was rescued at only a month old. She has lived her whole life in foster care and will be arriving to Seattle this March! She currently weighs around 25lbs but we do estimate her to be a medium/large dog around be around 40lbs when fully grown. Peanut is a playful and sweet girl and she cannot wait to find her furever family in the PNW!

Peanut has been thriving in her foster home in Baja. She is safe and gentle with her foster cat siblings and loves to play with her other puppy companions. Peanut rides well in the car and is house trained. She is working on learning some basic commands and her kennel skills. Peanut would be the perfect addition to any family and is a medium energy dog who enjoys to take naps after playing in the yard or going on a hike. Peanut will be fostered in Seattle starting in March and available for meet and greets then as well.

All of Saving Baja Paws dogs come with a fantastic flexible foster-to-adopt option. This is a unique opportunity that allows your family to make sure it a perfect match with your new pup.

Peanut's adoption fee for Oregon, Washington, or California is $375USD. This helps us cover most of her vet and care costs incurred in Mexico, and the transport fee to bring our pups over 1,500 miles to the PNW. All our dogs come spay or neutered, with all theirs shots for the year, and have had multiple blood tests done prior to entering the USA from Mexico.

All our pups come fully up to date on shots, are tested for heartworm and other diseases, microchipped, fecal tested, current on flea medications, and also come spayed / neutered.
Please Apply >> savingbajapaws.org/application
