Meet Peachy Keen! This girl is all spunk and all love! Peachy Keen is enjoying her time in foster care. Per her foster mom, she is sweet, goofy, smart, and eager to learn! She is housetrained and will ask to go out with a whimper. This clever girl knows a few commands, like sit, down, kennel, up (get in car), wait, and hang on! She loves to learn and likes to stay busy! Peachy Keen walks nicely on a leash, even past squirrels. This little girl came to the shelter a fair bit underweight, but she is gaining daily and looks and feels great! Her foster mom lovingly calls her Kini!

If you have questions or are interested in adopting a pet, please call 919-942-7387, option 3. If staff cannot answer right away, please leave a message and they will call you back as soon as possible. Voicemails will be answered in the order they are received. You do not need to be an Orange County resident to adopt a pet from our shelter. In order to adopt, please bring a government-issued photo ID (Driver's License, Military ID, or Passport). Some pets may not be able to go home the same day that they are adopted. Adoptions include vaccinations, spay or neuter, and microchipping.
