Originally adopted from our facility as a puppy, she has unfortunately found her way back—through no fault of her own—and is now hoping for a true fresh start.<br/><br/>Peachy has lived with other dogs and has a naturally sweet, gentle personality. She can be a bit nervous at first, but her curiosity helps her come out of her shell as she gets more comfortable. She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys taking in the world around her at her own pace.<br/><br/>She’ll do best with a patient, committed family who can help her build confidence and reach a healthy weight. Peachy has already shown how wonderful she can be—she was perfectly behaved during her bath, calmly accepting all the care and attention.<br/><br/>This beautiful girl is ready to start over with someone who will give her the stability and love she deserves. With time, kindness, and consistency, Peachy is sure to blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion.<br/><br/>At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals! <br/>We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend and may require you to bring any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion. <br/><br/>Want to Know if I’m Still Available? <br/>Call the shelter at (989)-835-1877 to confirm my availability.
