Peaches is truly the whole package. This sweet, easy-going Cairn Terrier is one of the gentlest souls you’ll ever meet. She came to rescue from a shelter after her beloved owner entered hospice and family members were unable to keep her. Despite the change, Peaches has remained loving, calm, and full of quiet joy.<br/><br/>At 10 years old and about 15 pounds, Peaches is the perfect size for cuddles—and cuddles are one of her favorite things. She also enjoys leisurely walks, playing with her toys (especially chasing a tossed ball), or simply lying by your side soaking up your company.<br/><br/>Peaches is house-trained and crate-trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and would happily choose a spot on the bed next to you. She’s not a barker, but she will politely let you know when someone is at the door or when she needs to go outside. She waits patiently while you put her leash but truly NEEDS a fenced yard. She tries to get away on the leash and can be very strong. She is also high prey so she goes after squirrels etc. <br/><br/>She gets along ok with other dogs but would prefer to be your sole companion.
