Peaches's Story

Peaches

First one to be posted for adoption from our hoarding case dogs.

I typically dont post these dogs this quickly but these guys, while still showing many typical signs of hoarding case dogs, are not as feral as we sometimes see. While shy, they crave affection.

We will be absolutely requiring secure fenced in yards for all these babies. They have never had a leash on and leash pressure of any kind absolutely freaks them out.

Guesstimating to be around 7 years old
weighs 8 lbs
good with other dogs
cant imagine she would have any issues with cats
no children due to skittish nature and fear of quick movements.
preferring women over men currently. Not say she cant go to a home with a man but she will need a man who is understanding and willing to be patient.

Foster mom says:

Couple of things about Peaches:
Typical Chi - attached to one person. Owner must be ok with her following you around and right by your side.
- Not ok with a crate but is doing very well with pottying outside if taken out on proper schedule.
- Doesnt like a leash but maybe could learn.
- Protective of her person. -She barks at my husband and kids sometimes but once they pet her she calms down.
